Knees Touch at the Finish
Send the trail knee to the lead knee, not at the ball, so the hips keep turning.
PostureFollow-Through Turn
Use this if
Your trail knee kicks out toward the ball.
The fault
The trail knee kicks out toward the ball, the hips stop turning and the arms run out of room.
Steps
- Make a slow swing and notice where your trail knee goes
- Rehearse 3 finishes with the trail knee closing to the lead knee
- Let the trail foot roll up onto its toe as the knee arrives
- Hit balls at 70%, finishing with the knees together
Trail knee finds the lead knee
Reps
3 rehearsals, then 3 x 5 balls at 70%
Why it works
Aiming the trail knee at the lead knee sends the trail side around toward the target instead of out at the ball. That keeps the pelvis rotating and leaves the arms room to swing from the inside.
